We are the controller of the personal data described below. For anything on this page, write to us at info@slamenabuda.sk. We have not appointed a data protection officer, as we are not required to.
The short version
This website has no contact form, no newsletter and no user accounts. It asks you for nothing. We measure visits only if you agree to it; until you do, no measurement runs. What is left is the technical minimum needed to serve a page, plus whatever you send us yourself when you book a table.
When you visit the site
Our hosting provider records standard server logs: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, and the browser and operating system reported by your device. This happens for every website and is needed to run the server and defend it against attacks.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use these logs to build a profile of you, and we do not connect them to any other data.
Cookies
We set two cookies, both strictly necessary. Neither is used for advertising or measurement.

If you allow statistics cookies in the banner, visit measurement starts through Google Analytics, deployed via Google Tag Manager. Until you agree, these cookies are not stored and no measurement is sent to Google. We use Google Consent Mode v2, which holds measurement switched off until your consent.

Marketing cookies we do not use at all. The category sits in the banner in case we ever measure advertising. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the cookie button in the bottom left corner of any page.
Legal basis: strictly necessary cookies rely on our legitimate interest in delivering a working site; anything else would run only on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Third parties the site contacts
To display the page, your browser loads a few files from other providers. They set no cookies here, but they do receive your IP address, because a browser cannot request a file without one.
- Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited): the two typefaces the site uses.
- unpkg.com (Cloudflare, Inc.): two small animation libraries.
- CARTO: the map tiles on the contact section. The map loads only once you scroll down to it, so if you never reach it, no request is made.
- Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited): visit measurement. Loaded only after you allow statistics cookies.
Where these providers process data outside the European Economic Area, they do so under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
When you book a table or a room
Reservations are made by telephone or e-mail, not through this website. In that case we process the details you give us yourself: usually your name, a contact number or e-mail, and the date, time and size of the booking.
Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and performance of that contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep these details for as long as the reservation requires, and afterwards only where accounting and tax law obliges us to keep the related documents.
Who else sees your data
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for marketing. It is accessible to:
- WebHouse, s.r.o., Paulínska 20, 917 01 Trnava, Slovakia, company ID 36743852, registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court Trnava, section Sro, insert 19692/T. As our processor it runs the hosting, meaning it stores the site and its server logs.
- Google Ireland Limited, if you allowed statistics cookies, for the visit data concerned.
- Public authorities, where the law requires it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask us to:
- tell you what data we hold about you, and give you a copy,
- correct anything inaccurate,
- delete your data, where there is no legal reason for us to keep it,
- restrict how we use it, or object to that use,
- hand your data over in a portable format,
- withdraw a consent you gave, which does not affect what was lawful before.

If you are not satisfied
You can complain to the Slovak supervisory authority: Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava, dataprotection.gov.sk. We would rather you told us first, so we can put it right.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
